Am I Brilliant or What?!?

As what we are aware of, today we'll experience a "partial solar eclipse" wherein the center of eclipse will be somewhere in China. Everybody's talking about it in Facebook. Kanya-kanya pabonggahan ng status message in relation with the on-going spectacular natural phenomenon. Honga naman it's very rare that this kind of phenomenon happens, so better give in!

Since I am so free for the past days, I literally just bummed around. Early morning, my Nep and I were sitting in front of the television early in the morning. He saw the Eclipse being flashed on the TV, and asked about it. So I tried to explain to my nephew what's happening. I guess he didn't understand it that well. And i tried to describe and explain what's gonna happen, and tell you what..... He got more confused! I am not gonna explain this again to a pre-schooler. I bet he's thinking I am one of the adult freaks around him. Next time, I'll just do my explanation in the simplest way I know. I should have used a bulb and a round object to explain it, i treated him like he's already taking a science subject! LOL

He's also the same Nep who asked me as to why Michael Jackson turned form being charcoal black to powder white. If I were on his age, I'll be confused too to see his evolution. Can Charles Darwin Evolution of theory help me in explaining it or a Vicky Belo brochure rather?

Anywho, since I really want to see the acutal eclipse, I thought of getting an old film negative and check the eclipse. I ended up with my eyes hurting. Parang nag-blackout yung left eye ko habang nagluluha! Masakit pala talaga tumingin sa araw ng diretso! I can't find an old X-ray film kasi and negative is the only available for me. So that's what I used first and I failed.

My next attempt is to take a picture of it so I can also show it to my Nep. Since I am feeling blind this is the safest thing to do. I took my polarized sunglass and my phone camera out and tried to take a picture.

I failed still, so deadma na lang and turned on the TV and just checked it there instead.

Better be ready with at least you sunglasses so it won't hurt your eyes. I -ready ang mga mata sa makikita dahil napakandang eclipse ang masasaksihan.

I swear hindi ko makaya ang pgakuha nito, pasenya na sa magalaw na kuha kasi nagtatago ako at tawaako ng tawa kaya mauga. Napansin mo ba ang paglalaban ng araw at buwan, ang pagbukas sara ng mga mata, ang pakikipaglaban sa eclipse!

Ang eclipse na eye-friendly! Ito ang eclipse na masarap panoorin lalo na sa jeep, sa iskwelahan at sa opisina. Siguraduhing huwag mahuhuli ng pinagtatawanan mong lumalaban sa antok para hindi ka mapaaway! Char!
